The European Biostimulant Industry Council (EBIC) promotes the contribution of plant biostimulants to make agriculture more sustainable and resilient and in doing so promotes the growth and development of the European Biostimulant Industry. EBIC was founded in June 2011 as the European Biostimulant Industry Consortium and changed its named when it gained legal identity in 2013.
The Biological Products Industry Alliance (BPIA) promotes the responsible development of safe and effective biological products including biopesticides and biostimulants as beneficial tools for commercial agriculture, forestry, golf courses, home gardens, horticulture, ornamentals, and public health through education, outreach and advocacy activities at the state, federal and international levels.
The Biostimulant Coalition is a group of interested parties cooperating to proactively address regulatory and legislative issues involving biological or naturally-derived additives and / or similar products, including but not limited to bacterial or microbial inoculants, biochemical materials, amino acids, humic acids, fulvic acid, seaweed extract and other similar materials. The coalition is a nonprofit affiliation of interested parties.
AFAÏA is the french representative for companies providing fertilizers and innovative inputs for sustainable plant crops. It is the Trade association of stakeholders from the growing media, mulching, organic amendments, organic and organo-mineral fertilizers and biostimulants industries. AFAÏA put the accent on the importance of biostimulants in agriculture by creating a complete website dedicated to them : www.biostimulants.fr.
